Close the Gap is an important awareness day that aims to close the health and life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.


As a pharmacist and pharmacy owner, what role can you play in helping close this gap?


Today we speak to Georgina Twomey, the Managing Director at Alive Pharmacy Group and chair of Rural Pharmacists Australia.


Together, we’ll explore some important questions such as why the gap exists in the first place and how to manage cultural barriers or misconceptions, as well as what’s happening in rural pharmacies on a national scale.
